At long last, our recommended reading list has been updated. The delay rests entirely on my shoulders.
My thanks to Lorraine for organizing all of it. It came in many forms and she compiled the list, which I imagine will only grow over the course of time.

This is a terrific list. If you are still taking suggestions, check out the novels of Michael O’Brien and Louis de Wohl, both sets published by Ignatius. I just finished the latter’s novel based on the life of Aquinas, and the former’s Father Elijah is especially good reading for this demographic. And there are about a thousand other books I could recommend.

I misnamed “Essays and Letters” entry #9. It is “The Mowing of a Field.”
Mea culpa.

How about John Senior’s “The Restoration of Christian Culture”

Michael O’Brien’s novels are excellent.
I would also add “Abandonment To Divine Providence” by de Caussade and “The Soul of the Apostolate” by Jean-Baptiste Chautard to the basics.
